The Bitola Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office was established in 1945 as the District Public Prosecutor – Bitola. The Bitola Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office functions in the territory of the Bitola Appellate Court and it is competent to oversee the work of BPPO Bitola, BPPO Prilep, BPPO Ohrid, BPPO Struga and BPPO Resen. It is held accountable for its work to the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia who oversees the work of this public prosecutor’s office, as well as to the Council of Public Prosecutors.
