Liljana Spasoska exercised the office of Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia from 29.08.2017 until 25.12.2017.
She was born in Skopje in 1954 and she completed her primary and secondary education in Skopje. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje on 04.01.1977.

She started working as a law apprentice at the former District Public Prosecutor’s Office – Skopje on 01.03.1977, and in 1978 she became a professional associate at the very public prosecutor’s office.

On 01.12.1984 she was appointed Deputy Public Prosecutor at the former Municipal Prosecutor’s Office – Skopje. She exercised this office until 01.04.2003 when she was appointed Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office – Skopje.

She was elected as a public prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of North Macedonia on 01.06.2009. As of December 2013 she has been exercising the office of Deputy Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia.

In her career she has participated in numerous international conferences and expert counsellings in the Republic of North Macedonia and she exercised the office of President of the Managerial Board of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors for a while.

Mrs. Spasoska is a married mother to two daughters of full age and a grandmother to two nieces.
