The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje was established in 1945. The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje functions in the territory of the Skopje Appellate Court. It is competent to oversee the work of BPPO Skopje, BPPO Veles, BPPO Kumanovo, BPPO Kavadarci, BPPO Gevgelija and BPPO Kriva Palanka. It is held accountable for its work to the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia who oversees the work of this public prosecutor’s office, as well as to the Council of Public Prosecutors.
